Why I wrote Three Brave Explorers
I'm Lisa, mum to three autistic boys.
After years of searching for books that truly reflected our family, I realised I needed to write the stories I couldn't find.
Three Brave Explorers was born from our everyday adventures, our challenges, and the beautiful ways my boys see the world.
My hope is simple: that every child who reads these books feels seen.

Inspired by her three autistic boys, Lisa Parker writes warm, honest stories that help children feel seen, understood and celebrated.
Sarah-Leigh Wills brings them to life with soft, hand-drawn watercolour illustrations full of warmth and wonder.
